Generally, when we use power transformers, we will be limited by many requirements, at this time, we need to understand the operating procedures of power transformers to cover more familiar applications, let's take a detailed look.
1. The basic requirements and operation requirements of power transformers (hereinafter referred to as transformers). It can be used for the basic requirements, operation mode, operation and maintenance, abnormal operation and treatment, as well as the requirements for installation, overhaul, testing and acceptance of power transformers (hereinafter referred to as transformers).
2. Implement the standards and check the relevant materials stipulated by the state.
3.1 Protection, measurement, cooling device
3.1.1 The transformer shall be equipped with protection and measuring devices in accordance with the provisions of the relevant standards.
3.1.2 The safety protection device, cooling device, oil protection device, temperature measurement device and oil tank and accessories of the oil-immersed transformer body shall meet the requirements of GB6451. The relevant devices of dry-type transformers should meet the corresponding technical requirements.
3.1.3 When the transformer is protected by a fuse, the fuse performance must meet the requirements of system short-circuit capacity, sensitivity and selectivity. When protected by a fuse for graded insulated transformers, the neutral point must be directly grounded.
3.1.4 Oil-immersed transformer equipped with gas relay, without rising slope, the top cover should have an elevated slope of 1% to 1.5% along the direction of the gas relay during installation.
3.1.5 The cooling device of the transformer shall meet the following requirements:
a. Install all cooling devices according to the regulations of the manufacturer;
b. The cooling system with strong oil circulation must have two independent working power supplies and can be switched automatically. When the working power supply fails, it should be put into the backup power supply and send out sound and light signals;
c. Strong oil circulation transformer, when the fault cooler is cut off, sound and light signals should be emitted, and automatically (water-cooled can be manual) put into the standby cooler;
d. The auxiliary motors of fans, water pumps and oil pumps should have overload, short circuit and phase failure protection; There should be a device for monitoring the direction of rotation of the oil pump motor;
e. The oil pump of the water cooler should be installed on the oil inlet side of the cooler, and ensure that the oil pressure in the cooler is greater than the water pressure of about 0.05MPa under any circumstances (unless otherwise specified by the manufacturer). There should be a water discharge on the outlet side of the cooler;
f. For transformers cooled by strong oil circulating water, the outlet of the submersible pump of each cooler should be equipped with a check valve;
g. Transformers with strong oil circulation cooling should be able to control the switching of the cooler according to temperature and/or load.
