Ryan Electric Prioritizes Safety with Routine Fire Drill
Jiangsu, China – 25 November 2025
At Ryan Electric, "Safety" isn't just a term in our mission statement-it's a daily commitment we live by.On the morning of November 20, 2025, all employees of Jiangsu Ryan Electric Co., Ltd. assembled on the east-side road outside Gate 2 of the No. 2 manufacturing plant to participate in a comprehensive fire-fighting and evacuation drill. All employees-ranging from 110 kV R&D engineers to pad-mounted transformer assembly crews-participated in the drill, clad in the company's signature grey work uniforms and safety helmets.
The drill was notified a mere 24 hours prior to simulate the urgency of real-world situations. Department managers were assigned the responsibility of:
1. Releasing personnel 15 minutes before the 09:30 start
2. Ensuring complete turnout of the appointed fire response teams
3. Verifying that every participant was in company uniform and hard hat
By 09:15, over 600 staff had assembled in color-coded teams beneath the banner that read "Fire Safety First • Quality Plan • Equipment Warehouse."Just eight minutes later, the on-site emergency command center had:
- Identified a mock transformer-oil blaze
- Triggered the facility-wide alert
- Positioned 38 mobile CO₂extinguishers for action
- Mobilized two 45 kg trolley-mounted powder extinguishers
- Initiated a controlled power-down of the 110 kV test bay
At 09:42, the exercise concluded with a "Code Green" all-clear signal.A quick debrief showed the response was 22 % quicker than last year's benchmark and recorded zero PPE lapses-clear proof that Ryan Electric's ISO 45001 system is delivering results.
"No transformer is safer than the hands that build it," remarked Mr. Xiao, Deputy General Manager."Drills like this make certain our people put life safety first-long before they think about the grid."
