Expo Center Norte has been packed since the doors opened, and day two of THE smarter E South America has kept our team busy from morning to closing. Our 16-square-meter booth R3.36 sits right in the middle of the transformer conversation - buyers, engineers, and distributors from Brazil and across Latin America have been stopping by all day, many asking the same question: what can you really deliver for South American projects?
The answer is on our counters. Cast resin dry type transformers and VPI units, oil-immersed distribution transformers, three-phase pad mounted transformers, and compact prefabricated substations rated 50 kVA to 2.5 MVA with IP54 enclosures - engineered to IEC 62271-202 and IEC 60076 standards. The scaled oil-immersed transformer model is the first thing visitors touch; engineers love opening the tank cover and checking the core structure themselves.
The questions have been practical, and that is exactly what we want. Visitors ask how our UL and CSA certifications transfer to North American projects, how a transformer behaves in Brazil's hot, humid climate, and what realistic lead times look like for custom ratings. A CATL engineer stopped by to discuss transformer selection for data center and energy storage applications - the conversation went straight to real numbers: no-load loss, impedance, partial discharge. Our sales engineers answered in Portuguese and English, and more than one visitor left with a technical datasheet in hand.
Behind the scenes, we prepared with South America in mind: Portuguese-language brochures, product selections matched to 60 Hz grids and tropical conditions, and certification documents ready to open on the spot. It helps that we bring 18 years of manufacturing experience, exports to more than 50 countries, a CNAS-accredited test laboratory, and IEC, UL, CE, CSA, DEKRA and ASTA certifications.
