Guatemalan Clients Visit Ryan Electric Factory
On-Site Tour of Winding Workshop & CNAS Test Station
August 2026 | Jiangsu, China
A four-member delegation from Guatemala, Central America, recently walked through our production floor for a full-day technical visit. They came to see how power transformers go from raw copper winding to a signed test report - and to verify, with their own eyes, what a Ryan Electric factory visit actually looks like before placing orders for the Central American market.

Our first stop was the transformer winding workshop. The visitors gathered around large copper coils resting on wooden pallets, watching our operators handle each winding layer with the care that LV/HV insulation integrity demands. Under the red gantry crane that spans the hall, they asked detailed questions about conductor material, layer insulation, and how we control axial pressure during the winding process. It was the kind of hands-on inspection that tells a buyer more than any brochure can.
Then we moved to the test area, where the mood changed. The delegation spent the most time in front of our CNAS accredited transformer test station - the integrated test platform for transformer routine testing, right next to the partial discharge test laboratory. They watched as a transformer sat on the mobile test platform connected by red bus bars, and our test engineers walked them through the sequence: no-load loss, load loss, impedance, and partial discharge measurement. For a buyer planning to import transformers into Guatemala, seeing the test bench in operation answers the certification question before it is even asked.

What impressed me most was how prepared they were. Every visitor wore a white hard hat with our safety logo, and they came with checklists - asking about test records, nameplate data, and how our testing capacity aligns with UL and CSA requirements for export markets. They also noticed the EATON branding on our cranes and test station banners, a reminder of the partnership that shapes our production management and quality system.
For buyers in Central America who need reliable transformers for distribution networks, substations, or industrial projects, we invite you to see our facility the same way - book a Ryan Electric factory visit and review our test reports on-site.
