A Short Break Before a Busy Season - And Why It Matters for Our Customers
Early April is usually when things start to accelerate for us at Jiangsu Ryan Electric Co., Ltd..
Project timelines tighten, inquiries increase, and production planning becomes more intensive-especially for ongoing orders involving oil-immersed transformers, cast resin dry-type transformers, and compact substations.
This year, just before entering that busy cycle, we made a simple decision: take two days off as a team.

Stepping Out of the Factory, Into Yixing
We traveled to Yixing, a place known for its bamboo forests, lakes, and quiet pace. It's very different from our daily environment of workshops, testing equipment, and technical drawings.
There was no complicated agenda.
We walked, talked, explored local scenic areas, and spent time together without the usual pressure of deadlines. Some colleagues joined group activities like rafting and cave exploration, while others preferred taking photos or just enjoying the surroundings.
Interestingly, a simple internal photo-sharing activity turned into one of the highlights. People captured real, unplanned moments-and those often say more than any formal team-building exercise.
What This Has to Do with Our Work
At first glance, a short trip like this might seem unrelated to what we do-designing and manufacturing power transformers and distribution solutions.
But in reality, it connects more than you might expect.
Our products-whether for power utilities, EPC contractors, industrial facilities, or data center projects-require close coordination between multiple teams:
Engineering
Production
Quality inspection
International sales
When communication is smooth, everything else becomes more efficient:
lead times are more predictable, quality control is more consistent, and customer requirements are better understood.
And that's exactly what improved after we came back.
A Small Reset, A Noticeable Difference
Nothing dramatic changed overnight-but the difference was clear.
People communicated more directly. Teams responded faster. There was less friction in day-to-day collaboration.
For customers, this translates into something practical:
More reliable delivery schedules
Faster response to technical questions
Better alignment on customized transformer solutions
Smoother execution of international projects
In other words, a stronger internal team leads to a more dependable external partner.
What We Continue to Focus On
At Jiangsu Ryan Electric Co., Ltd., our daily work remains the same:
Manufacturing and supplying:
Oil-immersed power transformers
Cast resin dry-type transformers
Box-type substations
Compact substations
Medium & low voltage switchgear
But beyond the products, we focus on something equally important-how well our team works together to deliver them.
